Found in Samaria 1970's, from the collection of the late M. Baidun, acquired in 1978, American private collection acquired 1980's.
The young wine god, is molded in cream or white clay, a wine mixing bowl is mounted on top of the head, used to drink the wine during ceremonial rituals. Found in the Jordan river valley. A very beautiful piece indeed.
