A footed plate in Apulian style, the dish has a
flattened lip with two handles and 4 knobs a top it. Painted in the center of
the piece, a winged, robed female Nike sits with a dish in her r. hand, and fan
in her left. She is surrounded by a wave patterned border, surrounded by a
border of vines. Floral patterns adorn the knobs, and the edge of the lip is
painted with a pattern of black lines. The foot on the piece extends in a squat
position from the center to widen at the base. Both the foot and the bottom of
the plate are painted black.
